BANJAAR TOLA, KANHA
This outstanding lodge, set on the banks of the Banjaar river, is only a few minutes’ drive from the lush forests and verdant meadows of Kanha National Park. The lodge has two stylish camps, each with nine tented suites built on stilts. The tents are spacious and contemporary in design replete with bamboo furnishings. Baghvan comprises spacious bungalow suites, decorated in traditional Indian style and just a few minutes’ drive from Pench National Park. SAMODE SAFARI LODGE, BANDHAVGARH
At the heart of the camp you will find the lodge. Here two welcoming wood burning fireplaces provide a comfortable lounge and library, opening out onto the deck with sweeping views over the surrounding wild countryside. There is an intimate spa offering a select few treatments to relax after the days excursion out in the wild. The property is well located near one of the quieter entrances to the park.
KINGS LODGE, BANDHAVGARH
The lodge comprises 10 cottage rooms and 8 stilted cottages, all with the latest mod-con bathrooms and are fully air conditioned throughout. Each of the cottages provide a large verandah with a writing desk, overlooking the lush surrounding forest. The Lodge houses a small nature library full of fascinating reads on the local flora and fauna, and other excursions are also on offer, such as the nearby village visit and local cycling routes.
JAMTARA WILDERNESS CAMP, PENCH
The 12-tented property is set in a rich forest surrounding based around an ancient Banyan tree rooted on a dry riverbed. Each tented room overlooks the forest and has a secluded sit out. The interiors of the tent are light and airy with large beds and a stylish finish. The plumbed bathrooms also offer the utmost comfort. The property is well laid out and includes an interactive kitchen. There are also nightly campside fires to enjoy and tell of your days adventures.
The lodge is family run and is already regarded as one of Kanha's premier eco-luxury properties. Twelve secluded stone and slate cottages feature spacious bedrooms, open fireplaces, private verandas and en-suite bathrooms, dotted around the property, enclosed by streams, rich grasslands and forest. A Spa offers Indian and Oriental treatments for holistic healing and guests will enjoy reading in the Colonial style library, which offers a large collection of books and videos on wildlife.
Sher Garh has a very strong eco ethos ensuring the camp has a minimal impact on the local surrounding area. The natural year-round water reserve supplied by the two local springs gives it a picturesque setting as well as attracting an array of wonderful birds including kingfishers, cormorants and the seasonal breeding of hundreds of egrets. Safaris with Kanha Tiger Reserve take place twice a day other than Wednesday which is only in the afternoon.

Set on the edge of the Bandhavgarh National Park, overlooking the central Indian wilderness, Bandhav Vilas is a charming, comfortable wildlife lodge.
