THE TAJ MAHAL HOTEL, MUMBAI
Built in 1903, this gracious and iconic hotel is located in south Mumbai, opposite the Gateway of India. COCO SHAMBHALA, COCO BEACH
Coco Shambhala is a collection of four luxury villas, each with two bedrooms, set in a tropical garden close to Coco Beach. Each villa is elegantly furnished, spacious and decorated in the style of colonial Goa with French windows and high ceilings. There is a large swimming pool shared by all of the villas, although each villa also has a private plunge pool.
Ishavilas is a collection of three Portuguese villas nestled among lush greenery and a sprawling garden, not far from the beaches and fine restaurants. ELSEWHERE GOA, MANDREM BEACH
Located in North Goa on a spit of land cut off from the mainland, Elsewhere is accessed via a bamboo footbridge over a creek. There are four 19th-century houses, all with shuttered windows, cool natural flooring and a terracotta tiled sloping roof. All offer direct beach access. Superb Goan cuisine can be ordered from a dining shack conveniently located nearby.
