Morning sightseeing of Kathmandu Durbar Square and
Swayambhunath stupa. After lunch visit the Royal Palace
of Patan and its stunning display of Newari architecture. (B)

Morning tour of Pashupatinath and Boudhnath stupa.
Afternoon dal bhat cookery lesson. (B)

Day 5: Pokhara
After breakfast drive to Pokhara for a 2-night stay at the
Temple Tree Resort & Spa. (B)

Day 6: Pokhara
Morning at leisure. Afternoon sightseeing of Bindabaisni temple,
Seti gorge, Devi’s Falls and the Tibetan village.
Enjoy a late afternoon boat ride on Phewa lake. (B)

Day 7: Gurung
Drive for an hour to the start point of the walk. Follow a beautiful
forested trail along level ground to the Gurung Lodge*,
where you will spend 2 nights. Located at 1,450 metres,
the lodge is built along the lines of a traditional Nepalese
village, with every room affording spectacular views of the
Annapurna mountains. After lunch, walk to the nearby
village of Tanchok to visit a local home. Gurung Lodge provides
drinking water and local drinks at happy hour. (B, L, D)

Walk for 1.5 hours to the viewpoint of Gurung Hill for magnificent
views of Annapurna South and the surrounding mountains.
Lunch at the lodge before visiting a nearby village
and its museum and local school. (B, L, D)

Walk to the end point of the trek and drive to Pokhara for
an overnight stay at Temple Tree Resort & Spa. Afternoon
at leisure. (B)

Drive to Bandipur, a living museum of Newari culture,
for an overnight stay at the Old Inn. Walk through the
local village and its main street lined with traditional
houses and temples. (B, L, D)

home of a retired Gurkha en route. Overnight at the
